Blood donation camp organised at APU 

PASIGHAT, 18 Mar: The social work department of the Arunachal Pradesh University (APU) here, in collaboration with the blood centre of Bakin Pertin General Hospital & Training Centre, conducted a voluntary blood donation camp at the university on Tuesday, on the occasion of the World Social Work Day (WSWD).

Twenty-five units of blood were collected during the camp.

Among the donors were APU Registrar Narmi Darang, Controller of Examinations Dr Monshi Tayeng, and prominent social activist Aini Taki Taloh, who made an inspiring contribution by donating blood for the 44th time.

A medical team from Bakin Pertin General Hospital ensured smooth and safe donation process, following all necessary health protocols.

The camp saw active participation of the university’s teaching and non-teaching members and students from various departments.
