Kra-Daadi, L/Dibang Valley top board exams, Pakke Kessang, Shi-Yomi at bottom

ITANAGAR, 14 May:  The state government run schools have made a significant improvement with 77.35% and with increase of 5.15% of pass percentage in Class XII result of All India Senior School Certificate Examination 2024-25 compared to previous year’s (2023-24) result of 72.21 %.   However, in overall pass percentage of both government and government aided private run schools, the state has recorded 73.49% with the improvement of 5.91% as opposed to previous year’s 67.58 %.

A total of 9,666 students appeared in AISSCE 2024-25, of which 7,477 have passed.

Kra Daadi topped among the 26 districts with 98.59 of pass percentage followed by Tawang with 96.70 % and West Siang with 94.35%. In Kra Daadi 71 students appeared, of which 70 students have passed, whereas in Tawang out of 212 students 205 students have passed.

Among the districts, Pakke-Kessang registered as the worst performing district with 40% of pass percentage.

Tirap registered 57.65% and Dibang Valley reported 70.59% of pass percentage.

Meanwhile, in Class X, the government run schools have recorded 55.30% of pass percentage with 5.54% increase compared to last year’s 49.76%.

Overall, both government and private schools recorded 59.27% pass percentage with an increase of 6.51%.

A total of 12,332 students appeared in the Class X examination of which, 6819 have passed.

Lower Dibang Valley district topped among the districts in Class X pass percentage with 87.30% followed by Kamle 80.20% and Tirap with 77.83 pass percentage.

Shi-Yomi on the other hand, registered the lowest pass percentage of 36.90% followed by Upper Subansiri (39.40%) and Papum Pare (40.56 %).
