Multi specialty mega health camp at Bubang in Changlang

CHANGLANG, 14 May: Hundreds of people benefited from the two-day multi-specialty mega health camp conducted by the health & family welfare department in Changlang, in collaboration with the Tomo Riba Institute of Health & Medical Sciences (TRIHMS) and with the support of the district administration. The camp was held at Bubang village under the Changlang south assembly constituency on 12-13 May. The mega health camp was initiated and organised by Changlang south MLA Hamjong Tangha.

Altogether, 891 patients-including 397 males and 494 females-registered for treatment during the camp. The camp included NCD screening (206 cases), dental treatment (62 cases), eye treatment (233 cases), and ENT services (91 cases). A total of 131 eye patients were provided with free reading glasses. Surgical operations were performed on 8 patients, and 23 patients were enrolled under the CMAAY scheme.
