2nd AP NCC Bn training concludes

TAWANG, 18 May: A 10-day combined annual training camp (CATC), conducted by the 2nd Arunachal Pradesh Battalion of the National Cadet Corps (NCC), concluded with a valedictory function held at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya here on Sunday.

 A total of 340 cadets from East Kameng, West Kameng, and Tawang districts participated in the camp, which aimed at fostering discipline, leadership, and camaraderie among the youths.

The valedictory event featured a vibrant cultural programme, where cadets showcased the rich and diverse cultural heritage of Arunachal Pradesh through traditional dances, music, and performances. Medals and trophies were distributed to cadets who excelled in various competitions conducted during the camp, including drills, athletics, cultural events, and debates.

Tawang Brigade Commander Brigadier Bhupal Singh, Deputy Commissioner Kanki Darang, Arunachal Pradesh 2nd Battalion NCC Commanding Officer Colonel Abhijeet Bhambere, among others, present on the occasion. (DIPRO)
