Cinematography workshop concludes

ITANAGAR, 13 Jun: The Arunachal Photography Club (APC), in collaboration with Nikon India Pvt Ltd, organized a free cinematography workshop at the State Food Court Institute, near IG Park here.

The workshop drew 42 enthusiastic individuals eager to enhance their skills in photography and cinematography, according to an APC release.

APC president Radhe Natung emphasized the club’s mission to inspire young people to transform their passion for photography into viable professional careers.

“Our aim is to encourage the youths to turn their love for photography into a professional career option,” he stated, highlighting the importance of pursuing unconventional career paths.

In addition to highlighting various youth empowerment initiatives by the club, Natung urged the participants to explore photography and other adventure-related hobbies as alternative career opportunities.

Soumajit Maitra, a Kolkata-based technical officer from Nikon India Pvt Ltd, provided insightful technical training and hands-on experience.

Participants benefited from expert mentorship and practical demonstrations, enhancing their understanding of cinematography.

“The APC remains committed to fostering creativity and skill development among youths, furthering their vision of promoting photography as a professional avenue in Arunachal Pradesh,” the release said.
