YAZALI, 8 Aug: A financial inclusion saturation camp was conducted jointly by banking institutes, government agencies and the local community at the Chulyu gram panchayat in Keyi Panyor district on Friday.
The camp, organized as a part of the ongoing three-month nationwide financial awareness saturation campaign, aimed at promoting financial inclusion and empowerment among the local community.
During the camp, a total of 15 beneficiaries were enrolled under the Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, nine beneficiaries were enrolled under the Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, and 23 know your customer (KYC) applications were updated.
The RBI’s Itanagar sub-office general manager, the SBI lead district manager, the NABARD district development manager, and the branch managers of the Yazali SBI, Central Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, Arunachal Pradesh State Cooperative Bank and Ziro Axis Bank, besides officials of the Arunachal State Rural Livelihoods Mission, Moneywise CRISIL Foundation of Lower Subansiri district, and villagers were also present during the camp.
The nationwide saturation campaign aimed to achieve comprehensive coverage across all gram panchayats and urban local bodies, ensuring that every eligible citizen benefits from the government’s transformative schemes.
