KHONSA, Apr 18: Tirap SP Kardak Riba on Saturday visited villages along the Indo-Myanmar border and urged the villagers to remain vigilant and help the security forces in ensuring that no cross-border movement takes place.
Riba, accompanied by DSP Khenwang Khetey, visited Noglo and Upper Chinhan villages and briefed the villagers on the precautionary measures to be adopted to defeat Covid-19.
They also visited border posts 161 and 162.
Earlier, Riba, accompanied by the Deomali SDPO and a police patrol team, visited Mopaya and Naitong villages along the interstate boundary with Assam and interacted with the rajas, GBs, youths and ex-panchayat leaders. (DIPRO)
