DOIMUKH, Dec 13: The 12th battalion of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) conducted a cleanliness drive in the campus of Jawahar Novodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) here on Wednesday as part of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
Led by Commandant AKC Singh, four subordinate officers and 130 jawans of the NDRF participated in the drive and cleaned up the school premises, including the academic block, the hostels, the dining hall, etc.
Later, the commandant spoke about the importance of being clean and maintaining good personal hygiene.
The school’s principal, Gireesh Kumar, was also present.
