KOLORIANG, Jul 24: Kurung Kumey DC Kento Riba on Friday distributed foot-operated sanitizing machines and liquid sanitizer to be installed at all the government offices in the district to control the spread of Covid-19.
The fund for procuring the equipment was provided by local MLA Lokam Tassar.
During a meeting with HoDs and representatives of NGOs and civil society groups here on Friday, the DC appealed to all to “take up the situation in a accelerate manner.”
DDMO (in-charge) Abu Taba informed that sanitization with sodium hypochlorite outside and with mist sanitizer inside government offices, banks, defence buildings and the market area here started on Friday.
The participants thanked the DC and the frontline workers for keeping Covid-19 under control in the district. (DIPRO)
