JAIRAMPUR, Jan 12: Preparations for the Pangsau Pass International Festival (PPIF)-2018 is underway in full swing.
In a review meeting held here on Friday, local MLA Laisam Simai urged the festival committee members and HoDs to complete all construction work at the festival ground by 17 January in order to avoid last minute rush.
He reviewed the progress of other activities, such as repairing of the road and the helipad ground; water supply at the festival ground; construction of toilets; installation of dustbins in the festival ground; parking facilities, etc.
Later, a meeting was also conducted to chalk out various security measures to be made during the festival.
The meeting was attended by the Changlang deputy commissioner, the SP, the ADCs of Miao and Bordumsa, HoDs, representative from the 13 Assam Rifles, and committee members. DIPRO
