LONGDING, 21 Jul: Two underground (UG) operatives belonging to the NSCN K2 and NSCN-K have surrendered before the district administration and police here on Wednesday.
Captain Hikai Wangsu (NSCN K2) of Longsom village and Jamgang Patadam (NSCN-K) of Khasa village in Longding district surrendered voluntarily before Longding DC Bani Lego ‘to join the mainstream and lead a normal life.’
While welcoming them to the mainstream of the society, the DC cautioned them from going back to the path of violence again. Surrender certificates were also issued to them. (DIPRO)
