ITANAGAR, 22 Dec: The Longkai village youth, in collaboration with The Head Hunters Motorcycle Club and Arunachal Bullet Club conducted a drugs awareness campaign on 16 December.
The chief of the village and students’ union strongly restricted the use of drugs within the region, and unanimously resolved that ‘any individual found guilty of consuming or peddling drugs and opium under the jurisdiction of the village will be solely responsible for his/her own conduct.’
Longding DIPRO Nyatum Doke, West Bengal Village Authority Riya Roy, Panchayat leaders and villagers attended the programme.
