LUMDUNG, 9 Jan: The 15-day ‘basic to intermediate level paragliding course’ organized here in East Kameng district by the Paragliding Association of Arunachal (PAA), in collaboration with Himachal Pradesh-based Billing Paragliding Association, concluded on 7 January.
Nineteen youths, including five females, participated in the course, the youngest among them being 13-year-old Ali Sonam Tara, who completed the intermediate level paragliding course.
The PAA is deputing Tara to Bir Billing in Himachal Pradesh for the advanced level training.
District Sports Officer Koya Yame gave away the course certificates to the 18 successful trainees.
The course was sponsored by the youth affairs department.
