BORDUMSA, 11 Feb: Shapawng Yawng Manau Poi festival of the Singpho community will begin on 12 February at the Singpho Heritage Centre here in Changlang district.
The four-day-long festivities will be attended by cultural participants from Changlang and Namsai districts, along with participants from Assam and even abroad.
Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein and UD&H Minister Kamlung Mossang are scheduled to attend the inaugural day of the festival.
The organizing committee has made dress codes mandatory for all those who will be participating in the dance on 14 February. Wearing of masks and social distancing have also been made mandatory during the whole festival period.
