ITANAGAR, 12 Mar: Over 242 cases out of 3,691 listed cases were disposed of and Rs 80,96,805 were realised as settlement amounts during the first national lok adalat of this year conducted in various courts of the state on Saturday.
The lok adalats were held at the district & sessions courts in Tezu, Bomdila, Yupia and Pasighat, the additional district & sessions court in Basar, the chief judicial magistrate courts in Roing, Yupia, Seppa, Aalo, Pasighat, Ziro, Changlang and Daporijo, and the judicial magistrate first class courts in Longding, Namsai, Yupia, Khonsa, Daporijo and Tawang.
The Aalo CJM conducted the lok adalat via the virtual platform.
