HUNLI-DESALI, 13 Apr: A training-cum-input distribution programme was organized by ICAR (RC) Arunachal Pradesh Centre, Basar on vegetable crops for farmers here in Lower Dibang Valley under Tribal Sub Plan (TSP) on Wednesday.
During the technical session, ICAR Arunachal Pradesh Centre, Basar joint director Dr. H. Kalita briefed about the technologies developed by ICAR for livelihood improvement and requested all the farmers to learn the technologies and adopt it for income generation as well as for self employment.
Scientist (Horticulture) Dr. Thejangulie Angami discussed about the scientific agro-techniques of kharif vegetable crops and method of application of different organic inputs that were distributed.
Hunli-Desali ADO incharge Ratan Chakraborty also spoke.
The programme was followed by a scientist-farmers interaction to address the problems of farmers.
