ITANAGAR, Mar 12: In a representation to the Chief Secretary on Monday, the Kargu Kardi Welfare Society (KKWS) has appealed to him to confer the drawing and disbursing power and placing of MLA LAD scheme of 27th Liromoba under the Yomcha ADC for the convenience of the beneficiaries.
The society has claimed that since the past few years, funds for the MLA LAD schemes under Yomcha and Kamba are not being placed to the respective jurisdiction but are placed with the West Siang deputy commissioner.
“The MLA LAD beneficiaries have to visit the DC office which is far from the area for getting the scheme sanctioned and for payment”, it claimed and threatened to resort to democratic action in case its demand is not met with.
