ITANAGAR, Sep 4: Arunachal Pradesh branch of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) will start an IMA Cancer Help Centre for those cancer patients of the state, who cannot afford to pay the cost of a major surgery.
The surgery will be done at Ramakrishna Mission Sevashrama Charitable Hospital Vrindavan free of cost for very poor patients and at a minimal rate to other affordable patients.
The surgery will be done by Oncosurgeon of Fortis Hospital, New Delhi.
Meanwhile, the doctors from RKMH, Heema Hospital and TRIHMS Naharlagun participated in an interactive session with Dr Mandeep S Malhotra and Dr Paras Khanna at Fortis Hospital on Monday.
