ITANAGAR, Sep 20: The Guwahati Arunachal Students’ Union (GASU) held a peaceful dharna in the compound of the Deputy Resident Commissioner’s office at Guwahati to protest against granting of citizenship rights to the Chakma and Hajong refugees settled in Arunachal.
The GASU President has questioned the Government of India over its recent decision and termed it as an injustice to the people of the state.
