KARSINGSA, 18 Sep: A five-day skill training on natural farming conducted by the Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Papum Pare began here on Wednesday.
A total of 75 participants of various SHGs from Borum, Doimukh and Naharlagun blocks including officials from ArSRLM departments are taking part in the training.
During the programme, department of animal husbandry veterinary & dairy development director Dr. Danjan Longri advised the participants to fully utilize the knowledge imparted by the experts from KVK. He also emphasized on locally available resources for better utilization in the farm.
KVK head Dr. Bangkeng Perme in his address asked the participants to take active participation in knowledge exchange brainstorming session pertaining to sustainable way of farm activity. He informed that during the five days training, a wide array of topics pertaining to natural farming will be covered by the respective experts including hands-on practical sessions.
