ITANAGAR, Sep 20: Expressing resentment over the rescheduling of disbursement of compensation under the Trans-Arunachal Highway (TAH) of Lower Subansiri district through a circular issued by ADC, Raga on account of applications for correction and missing in the beneficiary list vide No R/TAH/COM/2017-18 on September 19 last, the All Lower Subansiri Youth Association (ALSYA) has appealed to the Lower Subansiri Deputy Commissioner to ensure that payment of compensation is made from September 26 onwards.
In a three-point memorandum submitted to the Deputy Commissioner on Wednesday, the ALYSA has further appealed to the DC to publish the list of beneficiaries of Ziro, Yazali and Yachuli to receive claim and objection, if any, and fix a date for hearing of claims and objections of Raga, Ziro, Yazali and Yachuli to dispose of the same on the same day; to pay compensation to undisputed beneficiaries from September 26 without further delay on any pretext as per circular issued on September 19, 2017 and to complete the land acquisition process immediately to enable early construction of road from Potin to Bopi under the TAH.
