BOLENG, 17 Mar: The Siang district administration, in collaboration with the Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Department, on Sunday flagged off the second batch of trainees for the ‘Adventure travel guide (high altitude)’ training under the PMKVY 4.0 framework at Dirang (W/Kameng)-based National Institute of Mountaineering and Adventure Sports (NIMAS).
This batch consists of 22 trainees, including eight females.
The training at the NIMAS will provide the participants with hands-on experience and certification, equipping them with the skills needed to explore career opportunities in mountaineering, trekking, and ecotourism. (DIPRO)
