JOLLANG, 18 Sep: The state BJP organized a workshop on ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan’ at Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Ashram (Art of Living) here on Thursday, in the presence of a large number of party leaders, ministers and MLAs.

Speaking on the occasion, state BJP president Kaling Moyong underscored the importance of self-reliance as the foundation for a developed Arunachal and reiterated the vision and mission of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make India self-reliant and prosperous.

Moyong also commended PM Modi’s new GST slab, describing it as beneficial for all sections of the people of India.

He urged ministers, MLAs, chairpersons, vicechairpersons, corporators, councillors and party workers to actively participate in ensuring the grand success of all programmes in the state.

Stating that the public has strong faith in the leadershipof PM Modi and Chief Minister Pema Khandu in the state, he further urged party workers to create awareness about various state and central government initiatives at the grassroots level to ensure that the benefits of these programmes reach every section of society.

He also informed that panchayat and municipal elections will be held shortly in the state, and called upon everyone to work sincerely to ensure a sweeping victory for the party.

Dhaval Laxmanbhai Patel, MP in-charge of Northeast states for the ‘Har Ghar Swadeshi, Ghar-Ghar Swa-deshi Abhiyan’, emphasised that the path to a self-reliant India lies through the participation of villages, the poor, farmers, women and youths.

Patel also delivered a presentation on ‘Har Ghar Swadeshi, Ghar-Ghar Swadeshi’ under the Atmanirbhar Bharat Sankalp campaign and elaborated the mission and vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

State BJP vice president and convener of Atmanirbhar Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan-2025, Ashok Sangchoju, and state vice president and co-convener Tarh Soping also spoke.

Chairpersons and vice chairpersons of various boards/departments, the mayor, the chief councilor of PMC, and ZPCs, were also present at the workshop, the state BJP said in a release.
