ZIRO, 18 Sep: Over 250 entrepreneurs, youths, and district-level stakeholders participated in a district-level cluster-wise investment & entrepreneurship workshop under UNNATI 2024, organised here in Lower Subansiri district by the Industries Department on Thursday.
The workshop catered to six districts – Lower Subansiri, Upper Subansiri, Keyi Panyor, Kra Daadi, Kurung Kumey, and Kamle.
Industries Minister Nyato Dukam, who inaugurated the event, urged the participants from the five districts to actively engage with the workshop and take full advantage of the various schemes, including UNNATI, PMFME, PM Vishwakarma, and APIDIP 2025.
He emphasized the importance of understanding the schemes in detail and ensuring that all necessary documentation is in place before applying. Dukam also encouraged panchayat leaders to spread the insights from the workshop and disseminate them in their respective villages.
Ziro-Hapoli MLA Hage Appa urged the participants to make the most of the workshop. He also appealed to the department to simplify the documentation process to enable broader access to the schemes and availing of bank loans.
Industries Secretary Hage Tari highlighted various schemes, and emphasized the importance of “embracing Industry 4.0, innovation, quality standards, and artificial intelligence for industrial advancement.”
Industries Director Gyabo Pertin also spoke.
Technical experts delivered a presentation on UNNATI 2024, APIDIP 2025, PMFME, and PM Vishwakarma, which was followed by a question and answer session.
Lower Subansiri Deputy Commissioner Oli Perme was also present at the event. (DIPR)
