ITANAGAR, 18 Sep: Altogether 217 units of blood were collected during voluntary blood donation camps organised by government hospital blood centres across the state on Wednesday, the State Blood Transfusion Council informed in a release.
The drives were carried out under the Raktdan Mahotsav 2.0 and the Swasth Nari, Shashakt ParivarAbhiyaan, it said.
Similar camps will be organised by the blood centres across the state as per the local requirements till 1 October, which is observed as the National Voluntary Blood Donation Day in India.
