State level PMMVY training concludes

BOMDILA, Apr 28: The state level handholding training on Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandhana Yojana (PMMVY), common application software, and ICDS rapid reporting system (RRS) for CDPOs and data entry operators across the state concluded here on Saturday. The month-long training programme had begun at Tirap HQ Khonsa on 9 April.
The PMMVY is a conditional maternity benefit programme for pregnant and lactating mothers for their first live birth, effective from 1 January, 2017. The beneficiaries are paid a sum of Rs 5000 in three installments through the DBT mode.
The RRS is an online reporting system under the ICDS. Under it, geo-tagging of all the anganwadi centres is mandatory, and all the beneficiaries (pregnant and lactating mothers, children and adolescent girls) are Aadhaar linked.
A total of 226 participants from Khonsa, Tezu, Pasighat, Aalo, Daporijo, Naharlagun and Bomdila were imparted training on PMMVY and RRS during the course of the programme.
