ITANAGAR, Apr 30: The Arunachal’s Got Talent (AGT) team, along with the family members of Tamman Gamnu, one of the top 12 finalists of ‘Dance India Dance Little Master Season 4’ contest, appealed to the public to lend support to the 12-year-old Tamman.
Speaking to the media here on Monday, AGT chairman Hillang Nima said, “We need to support young talents who represent Arunachal in any field. Despite facing financial hardships, Tamman has managed to reach the top 12 spot. We must strive to help him through cellular vote or social media.”
AGT mentor Gumjum Haider said there is no dearth of talent in Arunachal, but pointed out the lack of facilities to hone those talents.
“Tamman is a role model and an inspiration for young boys. Supporting such talent brings unity, as it breaks down all social barriers. His talent brings recognition not only to Arunachal but to the entire Northeast,” he said.
A family member of Gamnu, Ranjit Gamnu gave a brief background of how Tamman learned dancing by watching shows on television.
“He was also a semifinalist in AGT twice. He is dedicated and passionate about dancing. We are thankful to the public for all the support and help so far,” he said.
Tamman’s mother, Yania Gamnu also appealed to the masses to support her young son to reach the next level of the competition.
Those who wish to support Tamman can comment, like, and share his photos and posts on Facebook and Instagram under ‘DID Little Master Season 8’, or log on to zee5.com/didlmvote to vote when prompted by the show.
Alternatively, to vote via SMS, type DIDLM <SPACE> TAM and send it to 57575.
