RUKSIN, Sep 27: National Advisory Board member of Sangeet Natak Akademi (SNA), Delong Padung has called for cultural exchange programme, particularly on folk culture to promote cultural integration among various tribal communities.
He said this at the NSA Board meeting held in New Delhi on Tuesday.
Informing that tribal people of Arunachal Pradesh are eager to know about folk cultures of the people living in other parts of the country, Young artist Padung also requested the SNA functionaries to hold the next National Folk Festival in the frontier state.
