PORT LOUIS (Mauritius), Aug 20: Dr Joram Aniya Tana of Arunachal Pradesh was conferred the World Hindi Award during the 11th World Hindi Conference held here recently. She received the award from External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, in the presence of several dignitaries.
The three-day conference, which concluded on Monday, was attended by several Hindi scholars from India and abroad. Dr Tana was selected for the award by a selection committee of Hindi experts.
