NAHARLAGUN, Aug 23: Following the directive of the capital complex district administration, Naharlagun CO Neelam Teji carried out surprise checks against violators of traffic rules here in Thursday.
Teji informed that 46 traffic violators were penalized and 13 were directed to attend the court of the JMFC in Yupia.
Deputy Commissioner Prince Dhawan later informed that such checks would be carried out regularly to ensure that the traffic rules are properly enforced.
He requested the residents of the capital to cooperate with the administration, and to abide by the traffic rules. (DIPRO)
