ITANAGAR, Aug 31: The Smart Classroom under the Chief Minister’s Adhunik ShikshaYojana was launched on Thursday at Government Higher Secondary School, Lumla by RWD Parliamentary Secretary Jambey Tashi.
Tashi spoke on how use of technology can improve the teaching-learning process and asked the teachers to adopt the same with full enthusiasm for best results. He also highlighted the efforts being put in by the government to remodel the education scenario in the entire state with an objective to empower its citizens.
Interacting with the students, Tashi underscored the importance of inculcating discipline for self improvement and advised them to maintain consistency in their pursuit to be educated in all aspects.
ADC Lumla R D Thungon, DDSE in-charge Hridhar Phuntso, HoDs of Lumla Sub-division, teachers and public leaders were also present on the occasion.
In Aalo, the Smart Class was launched on Thursday by West Siang Deputy Commissioner Swetika Sachan at Nehru Memorial Higher Secondary School. The Deputy Commissioner expressed hope that introduction of smart classes will simplify the learning process and ultimately lead to improvement in the education scenario.
Earlier, DDSE Tumto Lollen briefed about the objectives of CMASY and informed that as of now, 47 schools have been equipped with Integrated Community Computer (ICC) unit under West Siang district.
He further informed that after the launch of smart classes there will be several changes and improvements in interaction and participation from students in class.
