PAKOTI, Sep 29: The East Kameng district administration conducted a ‘Sarkar Aapke Dwar’ the programme at Pakoti circle on Saturday.
Half-a-dozen villages of the circle were converted into 100 percent LED efficient villages by replacing the old tungsten bulbs with LED lamps by the Arunachal Pradesh Energy Development Agency. The administration issued 148 ST and 82 PR certificates, along with four trading licenses, besides registering 177 affidavits. A total of 108 ST, 86 PR, and 10 trading licence forms were also issued by the department.
The Seppa CD block issued 60 income certificates and 20 new job cards, while a house under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, belonging to one Charo Sangdo, was inaugurated.
The district food & civil supplies department issued 22 new ration cards and 69 LPG forms, besides distributing 53 free LPG connections under the Ujjwala Yojana.
The health department conducted medical check-ups, issued four disability certificates, and distributed 284 Chief Minister Arogya Arunachal Yojana forms.
The Arunachal Pradesh Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board distributed 200 gumboots and raincoats to registered workers.
Among others, the ICDS, agriculture, horticulture, textile & handicrafts, and PHE departments, the Apex Bank, the district legal services authority, and the election branch made available their services to the people.
Earlier, inaugurating the programme, MLA Mama Natung urged the people to avail the benefits being provided by the government, and DC Gaurav Singh Rajawat urged the GBs and other stakeholders of the district to create awareness on the doorstep services.

The Changlang district administration conducted its 5th ‘Sarkar Aapke Dwar’ programme at Kantang recently.
Free LPG cylinders and cards were distributed to 19 women under the Ujala Scheme, and 250 ST, PR, income, birth, etc, certificates were distributed by local MLA Phosum Khimhun.
Khimhun and DC RK Sharma urged the people to come forward and seize the opportunity of the ‘Sarkar Aapke Dwar’ events, so that the ultimate objective of doorstep delivery of public services to the people is achieved.
“The administration will be conducting around 26 such camps in various circles of the district and, if necessary, will repeat them,” the DC announced.
Hundreds of people benefited from the services provided by all the departments of the district. (With DIPRO input)
