ITANAGAR, Dec 2: Arunachal’s Laa Tukum won a bronze medal in the Yonex Sunrise National (u-17) Badminton Championship at Bengaluru, Karnataka.
He went down fighting 1-3 to number one seed Rohan Gurbina of Maharashtra.
Tukum after losing the first game (21-16) came back strongly and won the second game (21-16). He put up a fight in the decider before losing 21-12 to Rohan in the decider match.
Meanwhile, Sports Minister Dr. Mohesh Chai, Arunachal State Badminton Association president Techi Ratu, secretary Bamang Tago, have congratulated Tukum for his brilliant performance.
