BOMDILA, Dec 10: The West Kameng District Football Association has demanded that the administration get the Buddha stadium here repaired within a couple of weeks, saying the association would otherwise launch a democratic movement.
In a release, the association informed that the stadium ground has suffered severe damage due to earth-cutting and digging activities carried out during the Buddha Mahotsava celebration.
It said the DC, responding to a complaint lodged by the association on 21 November, had directed the district sports office and the UD & housing department to repair the ground as soon as possible.
“But no maintenance work has been carried out till date,” the association said.
