AALO, Oct 16: Nearly 500 patients, mostly villagers suffering from various ailments, were treated during a health camp organized at Sansad Adarsh Village Yigi Kaum by District Health Society in collaboration with Army Field Hospital, Aalo recently.
The health camp was a part celebration of Gram Samriddhi Evan Swachatha Pakhwada.
Medical tests were conducted among the patients for various diseases by a team medical team from DHS and Army Hospital led by DMO Dr. Nyage Geyi, and DFWO Dr. T. Kamki and Col. Dr. Nand Kumar, Commanding Officer, Army Field Hospital. Medicines were also distributed to the needy patients free of costs.
The patients were also given general health tips and advice to live a disease free life. The camp was inaugurated by West Siang Deputy Commissioner Swetika Sachan. DIPRO
