DC appeals villagers to come forward and avail benefits of govt. schemes

DAPORIJO, Oct 15: Upper Subansiri Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Nodal Officer of Mission Antodaya, Danish Ashraf appealed to all the villagers to come forward with their problems and suggestions to the district administration and avail benefits from all the government sponsored schemes.
He was addressing a day-long closing programme of Mission Antodaya organized at Sikarijo and Ligu village in presence of vraious HoD and PRI members.
The DC also appealed the Gaon Buras and Panchayat leaders to ensure that not a single woman and girl child be deprived from availing maternity benefits programmes and Dulari Kanya Scheme. While stressing that no children should suffer from malnutrition, the DC urged all stakeholders to ensure that all the children are getting proper education, mid-day meal and health facilities. He further directed all the HODs to continue this mission with proper co-ordination among the various departments, PRI members and Villagers and to come forward to obtain best result. He also urged the youths to enhance their skills and capabilities through different Govt. sponsored skill development project and to come forward to establish small scale industries with the available local resources. He expressed his satisfaction for the works done by the various departments with full co-operation and co-ordination to through the mission Antodaya to the door of success. During his maiden visit, DC inspected the Sikarijo Secondary School and Ligu Higher Secondary School. He interacted with all the Principals and asked them to submit detail reports highlighting problems and requirements of the schools.
The HoDs including, Daporijo BDO, T. Nalo, DFDO, representative from the DMO, DDA, J. Dulom, DDI and DPO besides, SMS, KVK Gyati Yakang presented their respective reports in details. ASM, Sigin II, Margo Hai and APO (M) cum District Link Officer, Mission Antodaya were also present on the occasion. (DIPRO)
