DAPORIJO, Dec 27: A meeting in connection with the social audit of the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) in various CD blocks of Upper Subansiri district was held at the deputy commissi-oner’s office here on Thursday.
During the meeting, DRO B Paul highlighted the steps involved in the social audit, and spoke on the audit calendar for the current financial year. He enumerated the list of records to be furnished to the social audit team, and sought cooperation from all stakeholders.
DC Danish Ashraf urged the BDOs and POs to furnish all the required documents and provide logistic support to the social audit team. He also advised the social audit team to conduct the audit as per the guidelines.
Discussions were also held with the national level monitor on the progress of the GPDP.
The DRDA project director, BDOs and other block officials also took part in the discussion. (DIPRO)
