ITANAGAR, Dec 27: The capital complex district administration in association with the All Arunachal Pradesh Public Transport Federation (AAPTF) and the State Bank of India launched a three-day special camp here on Thursday to enable the AAPTF’s members to get their names enrolled under the PM Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, the PM Suraksha Yojana, and the CM’s Aarogya Arunachal Yojana.
Chief Secretary Satya Gopal, who inaugurated the camp, urged the participants to enroll themselves to avail of the benefits of the central and state government schemes.
“The camp will continue for two more days in Itanagar, and a separate camp for Naharlagun will be organized in the first week of January,” DC Prince Dhawan informed.
He urged the AAPTF to create awareness about the government’s flagship schemes among the people of far-flung areas.
AAPTF president Dobing Sonam expressed appreciation for the administration’s initiative and said he would ensure the enrollment of maximum number of the federation’s members under the schemes. (DIPRO)
