NAMSAI, Mar 15: Cash amounting to Rs 1,89,450 has been seized by the SST teams from various locations of the Namsai district. Various items such as daos, 50 mobile sets and liquors etc. amounting to Rs 2,90,800 were also seized in the district.
Meanwhile, in order to ensure smooth conduct of the forthcoming simultaneous elections, a training on cVigil was held at the DC’s conference hall here.
Namsai district information officer W. Namchoom, while conducting the training, explained the usage of the app to the MCC, VST, FST and SST teams. The cVigil app enables the citizens to report MCC/expenditure violations. A live demonstration of the cVigil app was also held during the training, according to an official release.
