Dear Editor,
This is a letter to the Election Commission of India and I would like to highlight regarding the coming Assembly and Lok Sabha election.
Postal ballot is only for those officials engaged in election duty, so what about those individuals who are away from their home constituencies for study, business and those engaged in private firms who want to cast their vote but would not be able to cast?
I am in Seppa, East Kameng district and I tried to apply for postal ballot but since I’m not on election duty, I was denied one.
