N/LAKHIMPUR, Oct 31: The three days composite fish culture training for rural farmers of Yomcha, Darak and Kamba circles of West Siang district was recently conducted at Madhukalya Aquaculture Residential Training Centre, Seajuli in North Lakhimpur (Assam).
During the training programme, Fish Biologist B Goswami and B K Daflari from KVK imparted both theory and practical knowledge.
During the practical session, experts demonstrated feeding techniques, identification of fishes like Indian and Chinese fishes.
Altogether, 25 farmers and unemployed youths participated in the training programme, which was initiated and conducted voluntarily by the Young Mission Adventure Club with an objective to impart knowledge on fish farm cultivation for livelihood activities and self employment generation.
