ITANAGAR, Sep 6: The motor vehicle inspector (MVI) of Lohit HQ Tezu, Phassang Powak, passed away on Thursday. He was 32.
Powak had been appointed as MVI in 2012, and had been posted at Tezu.
The transport directorate here in a release termed his death a loss to the department.
“He was a faithful officer, and his death is a great loss to the government,” the directorate said. A condolence meeting was held on Friday in the office of the directorate.
