DAPORIJO, Oct 5: Local MLA Taniya Soki on Saturday inspected the ongoing school building construction and implementation of other government schemes here in Upper Subansiri district.
The MLA asked the engineers and contractors, who accompanied him during the inspection, to not compromise with the quality of work and complete the projects on time.
Soki also attended the foundation day celebration of the All Chetam Circle Students’ Union at Soki village, where he urged the students to maintain discipline and work for the wellbeing of the society.
A cultural programme and sports competition were held on the occasion. In volleyball, the Belo Batam Raji Sari team defeated Dasi Youth Club A.
