ITANAGAR, Nov 14: Governor BD Mishra has greeted the people of the state on the occasion of the Nyethrii-Dow festival of the Aka (Hrussu) community, and expressed hope that the festival would usher in peace, harmony and prosperity for all.
“Festivals bring all closer to their rich cultural heritage and unique traditions, because they offer an opportunity for everyone to get together for bonhomie and joyous moments,” the governor said. “On this festive occasion, I join my Aka (Hrusso) brethren in offering prayers to the almighty god for peace and socioeconomic wellbeing of all.” (Raj Bhavan)
