ITANAGAR, Nov 24: A three-day capacity building programme for the officers of the industries department engaged in promotion of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) in the state began at the Udyog Sadan here on Sunday.
The programme is aimed at equipping the officers with a broad understanding of dealing with implementation issues and challenges related to the GST law, as well as of the major challenges having a direct impact on MSMEs.
Senior officials, such as MSME Centre Head Rajesh Batra and senior practitioner Rajeev Bhargav, are the resource persons of the programme, which is being organised by the industries department in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs.
In his inaugural address, Industries Director Habung Donyi advised the participants to take full advantage of the programme.
