Yazali, Aug 30: Rama Krishna Mission Hospital, Itanagar, in collaboration with Mumbai based NGO ‘Mission for Vision’ on Tuesday organized a workshop on vision screening for school teachers.
The teachers were imparted basic knowledge and procedures of vision screening to identify children with eye disorders during the workshop held at Abotani Academy, Yazali.
Ophthalmologist Dr Talum Sorum conducted the training and explained about common eye disorders in children and eye safety measures.
At least 25 teachers from government as well as non-government schools from Yazali and Yachuli areas of Lower Subansiri district attended the workshop.
