ITANAGAR, Sep 4: The Unemployed All Arunachal Engineers’ Association (UAAEA) objected to extension of validity of waiting list beyond six months up to November 30, 2017 through an order by the Director of Arunachal Pradesh Energy Development Agency (APEDA).
Demanding immediate cancellation of the order, the UAAEA in a representation, urged the APEDA Director to place the vacant post(s) under the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service commission (APPSC) for recruitment as per the Cabinet decision of February 7, 2017.
The association stated that such extension for a period of more than six months can be made with cabinet approval only.
