DAPORIJO, Sep 7: The Nagrik Bhaichara Samiti (NBS), Upper Subansiri district unit organized a public awareness programme on various social issues here on Thursday.
The NBS also visited the victims of recent fire accident at New Market. Expressing its solidarity with the fire victims, the NBS donated an amount of Rs 50, 000 as relief assistance to the fire victims.
NBS district unit Chairman and SP, Taru Gusar said that the Samiti which was formed under the guidance of the Governor, has been performing well in the district for the greater interest of the society.
He said that NBS district unit will strive hard for the welfare of the society and for peace and tranquillity in the district.
