Association calls for early examinations

ITANAGAR, Sep 9: The Unemployed All Arunachal Engineers’ Association (UAAEA) appealed to the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) for early conduct of examination for recruitment against various posts of JEs in various departments.
A team of the UAAEA on Friday met APPSC Secretary Onit Panyang at his office chamber and submitted a two-point memorandum in this regard, which also included one-time age relaxation for the aspiring candidates.
During the course of discussion, the UAAEA members appealed to the APPSC Secretary to include the JE examination in its annual calendar.
Highlighting the grievances of the unemployed engineers of the state, the association urged the Secretary to consider its appeal for one-time age relaxation for the over-aged candidates. They said that many of the candidates would be over the prescribed age at the time of writing examinations or after the examinations.
After a patient hearing, the APPSC Secretary assured to take up the grievances placed before him, particularly the age relaxation issue, with the members, the Association said in a release.
