Balinong, Sep 12: The Women Department of the Arunachal Baptist Church Council (ABCC) in collaboration with the Tangsa Baptist Churches Association (TBCA) and the Balinong Baptist Church successfully organized the second biennial women conference from September 8 to 10 at Balinong.
Around 370 delegates from 16 Baptist associations and councils of Arunachal Pradesh and lower Assam attended the conference.
MLA Laisam Simai and Kharsang ZPM, Korong Longri also attended the conference and encouraged the women to work for wellbeing of society.
Traditional dances by women groups from different tribes were other attractions of the programme.
